Our School

Green Valley Public School delivers quality education to develop the individual talents, interests and abilities of all students. We provide a vibrant and responsive learning environment. We are recognised leaders in the provision of an excellent comprehensive education. The diversity of cultures in our school means that we produce students with strong community values, with the skills they need to become valued members of society.

Enrolment for the 2006 school year is 533 students. Students at Green Valley are culturally and linguistically diverse with 76% coming from non-English speaking backgrounds.

The school continues to develop as a self-reliant learning community. We have significant early learning initiatives, before and after school care, interagency support for the community and for students with special needs, extensive programs for talented students and a plethora of extra-curricular activities such as sport, support for home study and the performing arts.
